- If you were to start a library
with only three books, what would they be?
I am an avid reader and would have a hard time selecting just three
books. I own a bookstore and I have already authored and had FOUR books
published so your limit of three wouldn't even allow me to take mine. If I
have to choose only three--I would choose books that I could read and reread
without loosing interest. The three would be (1) Napoleon Hills, "Laws of
Success" (2) The Urancia Book and (3) The Bible. Each of these books have
many layers of information and inspiration and can afford decades of
entertainment and growth.

- How do you plan to
increase involvement in American politics?
-
- I am increasing America's involvement in Politics
by acting as an example
of the power of one person to make a difference. I am on a one-woman crusade
to eradicate apathy, alienation and cynicism toward our government. They are
the enemy not the politicians we elect. Government never left the people it
was the people who left the government. We must realize that Washington is
not a self-cleaning oven. We the people must roll up our sleeves and get
involved to clean up the current mess.
- Who is you role model, and how
have they influenced your life?
- There are many that have influenced my life. Jefferson and
Lincoln are
my most inspirational presidents. Although very different, they were both
masters of the use of words to uplift humanity.
Joan of Arc, Rosa Parks, and Athena of Greece are my models of women of
power. Each in their own way took a stand and held on and thus became
victorious. Neither of them required a man to open the door of opportunity
for them. They were not afraid to take risks and challenge status quo.
Gandhi and Jesus remind me daily that each of us has the power to make a
difference in the lives of others. Each in simple ways wandered the land,
sharing a simple message of peace and truth. In the end they both changed
their world.
What was your first car?
Boy this is a memory long buried. My first car was a wonderful cherry
red Corvair (maybe an early 60's model). I loved that car. I had just driven
home from college when Ralph Nader was telling the world how unsafe they
were. My father drove it down to a gas station-but instead of buying gas he
sold the car. I never saw the car again and I was heart broken. It took
decades for me to forgive Ralph!
These are fun and great questions. Thanks for the diversion.
